Independence On The Coast Sponsorship Information

The Gulf County Chamber of Commerce hosted Independence on the Coast 2008, a two-day extravaganza attended by thousands of people. Independence on the Coast 2009 will be held July 3 in Historic Downtown Port St. Joe, and July 4 at beautiful Frank Pate Park.
Because of the immense planning involved in Independence on the Coast 2009, we must begin seeking sponsorship for the festivities. Many businesses in the Port St. Joe community have begun to inquire about possible sponsorship opportunities for the event. We hope you will join in with Independence on the Coast 2009 and give the Port St. Joe community a day to join together with family and friends and enjoy a fun-filled day of children’s activities, arts & crafts, musical entertainment and great food and beverages.
Independence on the Coast 2009 is the perfect forum for local and regional companies to target the Port St. Joe market and gain tremendous exposure for your products or services to consumers throughout the surrounding region. This event is an excellent opportunity to maximize exposure and create brand awareness while strengthening your community image.
Based on our overwhelming attendance at Independence on the Coast 2008, we hope to attract more artists and food vendors, add more children’s activities and draw bigger name entertainment. We will need more funds this year to help accomplish this goal. However, we can customize sponsorship packages to meet the specific goals and objectives of your organization.
With your sponsorship, we can again provide an enjoyable, free, family event that showcases the arts and entertainment and provides people the opportunity to participate in a unique celebration that signifies the Auburn spirit and sense of community. In Partnership in the City of Port St. Joe and the Port St. Joe Redevelopment Agency the music and spectacular Fireworks Display is presented to our locals and visitors alike. The Port St. Joe Yacht club also plays a major role in the festivities by organizing the Annual Boat Parade. The Realtors Association of Franklin and South Gulf County always do a phenomenal job with the Children’s Activities. The Gulf County Tourist Development Council contributes with a grant for advertising and marketing.
This is an excellent opportunity for many of our civic groups, churches, fire departments and local vendors to participate and utilize the festival venue to raise funds for their organizations or business. We have several vendors already signed up for this year’s event.
