We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to become a member of the Gulf County Chamber of Commerce. The Gulf County Chamber of Commerce represents members throughout all of Gulf County AND Mexico Beach.

Even though Mexico Beach is in the very southernmost corner of Bay County, it is inextricably a part, both geographically and in spirit, of the Beaches (Beacon Hill/St. Joe Beach) and Port St. Joe. It is both natural and economically wise to include Mexico Beach with Gulf County’s efforts to attract industry and tourism. And we do so with the clear knowledge and blessing of the Bay County Chamber of Commerce.

The majority of memberships in the Chamber are composed of small businesses interested in prospering and creating a healthy environment in which to conduct business. The Chamber is a group of people who realize they can accomplish collectively what no one of them can do individually. As a new member, you will receive an announcement of your joining in the Chamber Currents, the Chamber’s weekly newsletter.

You will receive the weekly newsletter containing focused information, advertising opportunities, member recognition and other offers of interest to members and their businesses.

Your business will receive a website listing on the Chamber’s official website: www.gulfchamber.org

You will be welcomed at our Annual Membership Meeting, Business Before Hours, Business After Hours and/or Networking at Noon, where you will have the opportunity to introduce your business.

At your request, the Chamber will assist you with the ribbon-cutting ceremonies for your business openings.

You will receive membership decals to display in your place of business and to identify you as a member.

As a member, your name, address, etc., will appear in the Chamber’s Membership Directory.

You will have the opportunity-and are encouraged-to leave brochures and business cards at the Chamber office for pick-up by visitors and potential new residents.

The Gulf County Chamber of Commerce works daily on the recruitment of new business and jobs to the Gulf County area, growth in positive, sustainable directions and providing thousands of visitors and potential customers with information on area businesses and activities.  

The Chamber also works, as part of a team, with the Gulf County EDC (Economic Development Council), to bring a new technological industry and the Gulf County TDC (Tourist Development Council) to promote tourism into the area. We work to bring into Gulf County the ancillary businesses that compliment these types of industries.

The Chamber encourages all of its members to become involved in the planning and implementation of these activities, allowing every member a voice in the structuring of their community’s future.
